The MCG 4 Museum Climate Control System – a recirculating system is designed to provide accurate and reliable relative humidity control for a single enclosure. With a capacity of up to 240 ft3 / 8 m3 or more, depending upon case leakage rates and ambient temperature variations. Sensitive artifacts are constantly surrounded by humidity air generate and controlled by the MCG system. The MCG 4 will maintain constant relative humidity levels in an enclosure even as the ambient temperature in the surrounding gallery changes.
