Neil Armstrong’s Space Suit

National Air and Space Museum NASM

The National Air and Space Museum (NASM) in Washington, D.C., is home to one of the most significant artifacts in space exploration history—Neil Armstrong’s Apollo 11 space suit. This suit, worn during the first moon landing, is a delicate piece of history, with materials that are highly susceptible to environmental damage over time.

To ensure its long-term preservation, precise climate control was essential. We provided the MTRH2000, a humidity and temperature-controlled unit, to maintain the suit’s environment within strict parameters. This system prevents fluctuations in humidity and temperature,
protecting the suit from degradation and ensuring it remains in optimal condition for future generations to experience.
